Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of DASH9 (the “Service”) — software that adds an AI assistant, navigation, charging and apps to your Tesla’s screen. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DASH9 is an independent software layer that runs on top of your Tesla’s built-in browser and connects to your vehicle through Tesla’s official Fleet API. DASH9 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.“Tesla” and related marks are the property of their respective owners.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions, free trial & billing

• DASH9 is offered as a paid subscription at $9.99/month or $79/year, billed in advance through our payment processor.
• New users may start with a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the applicable fee is charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before they do.

4. Safety & responsible use

You are solely responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle. Always keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel, and obey all traffic laws. Do not interact with the Service in a way that distracts you from driving. The Service is provided to assist, not to replace, your attention and judgment. Do not rely on navigation, charging, vehicle-state or AI outputs for safety-critical decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Tesla’s Fleet API, AI model providers, map and charging-data providers, and the apps you choose to connect. Your use of those integrations may be subject to their own terms, and their availability is outside our control.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by DASH9 and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of content you provide.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DASH9 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or vehicle use, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
