This Privacy Policy explains how DASH9 (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use DASH9, the AI cockpit for your Tesla screen. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email and authentication details when you sign up or sign in.
  • Vehicle data— via Tesla’s Fleet API and only with your authorization, data such as battery and range, location, climate and basic vehicle state, used to power assistant and navigation features.
  • Voice & conversation data — audio you speak to the assistant, its transcriptions, and your conversation history, so the assistant can respond and resume across drives.
  • App connections — when you connect apps (e.g. Slack, Gmail), the tokens and content needed to provide those features.
  • Usage & diagnostics — logs, device and performance data used to operate and improve the Service.
  • Payment data — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain and improve the Service;
  • To power the assistant, navigation, charging and connected apps;
  • To remember your preferences across drives (per-driver memory);
  • To process payments and manage your subscription;
  • To communicate with you about the Service;
  • To keep the Service secure and comply with legal obligations.

3. AI processing & third parties

To answer your requests, your voice or text and relevant context may be sent to third-party AI model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI), and to map and charging-data providers. Where the Service allows you to bring your own API key, requests are sent under that provider’s terms. We share only what is needed to deliver the feature you requested.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, payments, AI and map providers); parties you direct us to (e.g. apps you connect); and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it unless we must retain it for legal, security or accounting reasons. You can delete your conversation history and memory from your account.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You can also disconnect Tesla and app integrations at any time.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice and update the effective date above.
